Google’s always has cared for “sharing” (remember the first tag-line “Dont Be Evil”?) starting with their Staggering product line of Orkut,Chrome,Google + and You tube, sharing has been part of all of them.

Now in the era of their material Design Google has come up with something which collects them all on the single platform called Spaces — its a collaborative platform for small groups to share everything they think ,do and care about.

Comic books, tiny homes, Paris trip, study group? Just one tap to make a Space about any topic.

While the product is still being launched today (Still waiting for the first look) google’s official blog has announced it capabilities and don’t know why but sounds promising.

Google Spaces

With Spaces, it’s simple to find and share articles, videos and images without leaving the app, since Google Search, YouTube, and Chrome come built in.When someone shares something new to a space, the conversational view lets you see what the group is talking about without missing a beat.

with few too many failed products ( Schemer + Helpouts + Orkut and Google+ still breathing! Heavily!) it's still a chance google is getting into, let's see how this one turns out.

Spaces is rolling out today on Android, iOS, desktop, and mobile web for all Gmail accounts. Give it a try and create your first space today.

Go get your own “Space”!

So like Google+ communities but a different app? Sounds like they are rebranding and breaking out a feature.

Google Wave Spaces — At first glance this looks like the basic idea of Google Wave. I’m glad to see they didn’t give up on it. I’ll be downloading this and giving it a try.
